Present: Millie Williams, Chelsy Vicente Xiloj, Scarlett Vicente Xiloj, Asher Hellhake

City Team Present: Alex Richardson, Team Liaison; Councilor Heather Robbins
Meeting Start: Called to order 5:00pm
Youth Councilor Report and Staff Updates
Staff Liaison Richardson: Ayla and Jett will miss next meeting, Millie and possibly Asher. August 31 will
be canceled. September 14 will be our new election day.
October tours – PD and Library facilities. Will schedule.
Metro Future Vision – Chelsy is on the planning committee and will be at the event, age 14-24 invited,
all are welcome to come help vision the future of the metro region. 9am-4pm on Saturday, August 15 at
Portland State University in downtown Portland.
Completed the board and committee reappointment form for the members here: Millie, Chelsy, Asher,
and Scarlett.
Housing 101 Review
Review for the people who missed the last meeting; went over the PowerPoint Trinity Miller delivered at
the last meeting. Had people fill out this survey: City of Tigard Housing Survey
Event - Brainstorm

people able to join in – practice getting to say no. Having a Police Officer in uniform give a talk about
abusive relationships and having a nonprofit that can speak to these topics and offer information. Or a
series of evening events. Create a video as well by going around to tables and post after the event.
