14 ARRESTED IN RETAIL THEFT MISSION
14 people were arrested in a recent retail theft mission, which also led to the recovery of
stolen merchandise, a stolen car and methamphetamine.
The mission was held on August 5th as part of a national Organized Retail Crime
enforcement effort. During these missions, patrol officers and detectives work directly
with loss prevention employees at local stores to monitor criminal activity in real time
and make arrests on site.
During this mission, officers and detectives recovered about $1,000 in stolen
merchandise and made the following arrests:
• Sophie Singleton: theft I
• Joshua Durrant: theft 3
• Diane Nusbaum: theft 3
• Stefan White: theft 3
• Nicholas Parham: arrest warrants x3
• Thomas Smalley: felony arrest warrant
• Garrett Carlson: theft 3, arrest warrants x2
• Gadise O'Donel: theft 3
• Jaylee Kolbe-Williams: theft 3
• Juvenile: theft 3
• Juvenile: theft 3
• Juvenile: theft 2

The Tigard Police Commercial Crimes Unit (CCU) works with regional partners and the
Washington County District Attorney's Office to conduct these proactive retail theft
missions at various stores throughout the year to deter theft and other criminal activity.
