They say they will cut the trees right around my apartment, but need the permission of the owner to cut all around my building. Eraticon says that the trees need to be cut all around my building to prevent rats from entering the attic. Of course that has already happened two times recently. My son will be here so I absolutely need the bedroom to be safe before Christmas. I called Eraticon this AM as I didn't know when someone would be out to examine the traps in the attic that were placed 11/27. Nothing had been scheduled, but she arranged for someone to check them out 12/12 between 1-3. Since I understand the problem with rats in my attic won't be solved until the trees are cut back from the building, I am hoping that they will be cut back very soon. I know you have been trying to arrange to get them cut for? 1.5 months and you have your supervisor involved in trying to facilitate this. So I hope this can happen quite soon. Juan, the head of the grounds crew said he would cut back the trees last Wednesday, but as we discussed he didn't show up to do that. Rats carry a lot of nasty diseases and gnaw on electrical wires posing a risk of electrical fires. I have been dealing with this since October! I also had problems with a squirrel nesting above that bedroom in March with a nest breaking through. There seems to be a longstanding problem. I hope for resolution ASAP.
