_a 4 WHEREAS, National Volunteer Appreciation Week is an opportunity to recognize the
profound impact of volunteer service and the power it has to unite community members in a
shared purpose; and

protecting, and supporting our shared goals while demonstrating the power of service; and • �" ?�
;.':, WHEREAS, hundreds of dedicated Tigard volunteers strengthen our community by serving
`r,� on boards and committees, participating in the Community Emergency Response Team ,
1•c. (CERT), and providing vital support for library programs that enhance the well-being of all •
