WHEREAS, April 6 through April 10, 2026, has been designated as National Community
i ,, Development Week by the National Community Development Association to celebrate the
.I Community Development Block Grant(CDBG) Program and the HOME Investment , .n. ,
-..,.„ 1 Partnerships Program; and i `" �}
i t. WHEREAS, the CDBG Program provides annual funding and flexibility to local Yf 'r,
i i?‘x>s communities to support decent, safe, and sanitary housing, a suitable living environment, .—,
and economic opportunities for low-and moderate income residents; and -'
WHEREAS, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program provides funding to local , i "�
:r -;.
'• communities to create decent, safe, and affordable housing opportunities for low-income '
persons; and
WHEREAS, throughout the programs' history,the Tigard community has received critically :1_ . ,
needed CDBG and HOME funds that have made it possible for the City to support housing .�

stability, infrastructure improvements, public services, and economic vitality.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Yi-Kang Hu, Mayor of the City of Tigard, Oregon, do hereby r
