We have performed site visits and reviewed construction photos in reference to the project permit
drawings dated 12/13/2019. We understand the jurisdiction inspector has requested confirmation
that we have reviewed and approved the following:
• Location of the cast in place footing located at gridline B/3 at the canopy post and its
proximity to the existing pond. Acceptable, reviewed, and accounted for during site visit
and design.
• Existing footing found to be larger than expected at gridline B/4 (corner of the structure) is
sufficient without requirement to demo and rebuild.
• Ridge beam venting noted on 5/S2.02. Acceptable to be omitted as this is an outdoor
structure.
It appears that all non-compliant construction issues related to the structural gravity and lateral
force resisting systems have been adequately addressed. Therefore, based on site observations
performed, progress photos, and project communications throughout construction, it appears the
project named above have been completed in accordance to the design intent of the approved
structural construction documents.
