FIELD OBSERVATION REPORT # 1
Project: Tigard Storage

Present at Site: Keith Moore and Mark Weidhaas (RMG), Dale Beggs (Colorado
Commercial), Adam Smelley,.Doug Hobb and Randy Cooper (Perlo)
Observations:
Project is complete and RMG was requested to provide a final punch list of structural items.
Mark Weidhaas, P.E., Structural Engineer of Record, walked the entire site and made the
following observations:
1. Roof Screens observed. Layout and anchorage were acceptable.
2. At the 3rd floor, the (2) beam connection at the southwest window wall HSS tubes at one
location did not have the correct number of screws to the HSS. While on site, Perlo
installed the correct number of screws.
3. At the second level, three holddown anchors were not properly attached to the stud post.
While on site, Perlo corrected the installation, and they were observed to be adequate.
4. At the 1st floor, the (2) beam connection at the southwest window wall HSS tube at 4
locations was achieved with only 3 screws: (10) screws are required. Perlo added the
correct number of screws while RMG at site.

With the above modifications completed while RMG was on site, we find the project is in
substantial conformance with the structural construction documents.
