Development Tree Replacement Required
Approved with conditions:
The applicant shall plant a replacement tree for each tree removed, or pay a fee in
lieu of planting, in accordance with the Development Tree Replacement Standards
in Section 7, part 2 of the Urban Forestry Manual. Existing trees may be considered
as replacement trees if they meet all applicable species, size, condition and
location requirements in Section 7, part 2 and were not already required to be
planted or preserved by the Tigard Municipal Code.
This decision is final and valid for a period of up to one year after issuance unless
otherwise specified. Nothing prevents you from submitting another tree permit
application if the conditions and circumstances surrounding this removal have
changed.

Re: Review of the trees at the property at the following address:
10915 SW Hall Blvd, Tigard, OR 97223
We have reviewed the property and flora that are in question. The poplar trees have
rotted in the center of the trunks. This indicates that the tree's health has been
compromised. This can also be seen as several of the boughs have died and allowed
other animals and insects to gain access to the center of the trees. As the trees
continue to increase in age the danger to the houses will also increase.
Currently, the trees are overhanging over the homes and will continue to drop branches,
and damage the roof.
The oak tree that has already been taken down had (2) large trunks split off that
cracked the bottom of the tree. You can see in the pictures the crack lines from within
the tree. One of the trunks was leaning over a duplex and the second trunk was leaning
toward the adjacent unit. Both of these units have families currently living in them.
