Round the table introductions.

#3 (5:07) Safe Routes to Schools Program Update
Dave shared information about levy measure (1 M) for SRTS improvements.
City staff will be putting together a project.
#4 (5:09) Project Updates
An update on several city/county projects was shared and includes
information about:
• Metro RTO Transportation funds application.
• Fanno Creek Trail design project update; proposed Fanno Creek trail
at grade crossing of Scholls Ferry Road that replaces the existing
undercrossing that appears to have wide support (Wash Co and Bvtn).
• Proposed pedestrian bridge at Jack Park.
• Engage Tigard and survey for bikes.
• Roy Rogers Rd. , county adding a buffered bike lane on arterial.
• North Dakota St. Bridge and consultant hired.
• Safety Action Plan; 99W street lights and ODOT lead project with city.
support and input.
• Main Street phase 2.
• Washington Co. 121St
• Walnut to Gaarde St. project is underway.
• Wash. Co. sidewalk project on Bull Mt. Road.
• Durham Rd. and pavement preservation project this summer.
• City ADA Transition Plan being worked on.
• Tiedeman tactical urbanism sidewalk demonstration project is in-
place.

45 (5:46) Complete Streets Policy
Dave gave an update regarding city's complete street project. It's expected
that city council will adopt the new policy and strategy. The policy will be
presented to city council as part of the adopting process.
Dave read through the policy document topic headlines. Policy includes
definitions sheet, vision statement, description of desired long term
outcomes, etc. The committee had questions and comments for Dave. There
was good discussion on the topic. Christy gave good examples of how policy
will work under different scenarios.
Dave reviewed implementation plan line by line and gave a brief explanation
of each topic.

Welcome Jim, visitor at March meeting. Jim gave some details about his time
living in Tigard.
