Purpose: Evaluate Lot 43, 44 subgrade
Outstanding Issues: FR-146 (06/05/2019)Soft wall subgrade -
Upon arrival, I observed the excavation crew had prepared footings within Lots 43 and 44 as indicated on the
attached site plan. Subgrade appeared to consist of brown silt. I used a Yz"dia steel foundation probe to evaluate the
consistency of the subgrade. Resistance to penetration indicates very stiff to stiff subgrade conditions.
Based on observations and probing, it is our opinion that Lot 43 and 44 subgrade observed today and where
indicated on the attached site plan has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical
recommendations .
