Pursuant to your request,we have prepared this letter to address the 1 nfloor T1I floor joist bearing at the above referenced lot in the
Summerbrook Community.It has been reported to our office that the 9 'h"T11110 series floor joists @ 32"o.c.were pocketed into the
foundation walls and have 2"-2.25"of bearing. Per PRSC R502.6 and the provided structural plans, 3"of bearing is required. Please
note that a representative from our office has not visited the site to confirm these conditions,but photos were provided.
Based on our evaluation.the as-built floor joists with 2"(min.)of bearing are adequate to support the code required loads tributary to
each joist.No further action is required.
