Purpose: Evaluate lots 27, 30 and 31 subgrade
Outstanding Issues: FR-146 (06/05/2019) Soft wall subgrade
I observed crew had excavated to approx. planned subgrade elevation on lots 27, 30 and 31. I observed the
subgrade to consist of brown silt. Using a Y2"diameter steel foundation probe, I evaluated the relative consistency of
lot the subgrade. Probe resistance indicated generally stiff to very stiff conditions.
Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion that subgrade observed today has been prepared in general
accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
