Purpose: Observe Lot 232 Building Subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
I observed that lot 232 had been approximately cut to finished subgrade elevation and a layer of loose % inch minus
crushed rock was placed over the subgrade. I used a 1/2 inch diameter"T" probe to evaluate relative consistency of
the subgrade. Soil appeared to consist of brown SILT; minor gravel. Generally, subgrade soil was observed to be
stiff to medium stiff based on resistance to penetration of the probe.
Based on our observations and discussion with Polygon, it is our opinion the lot subgrade, observed today as
indicated on the attached site plan, is being prepared in general accordance with GeoDesign geotechnical
recommendations.
