Purpose: Evaluate Lot 8 Subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
I observed contractor had excavated lot 8 to finished subgrade elevation and had placed 1 to 2 inches of loose
recycled crushed concrete over the subgrade. Subgrade soil appeared to consist of light brown silt to brown silt with
gravel. I used a Y2 inch diameter"T" probe to evaluate relative consistency of the subgrade, which was observed to
be stiff to medium stiff based on resistance to penetration of the probe.
Based on our observations and testing, it is our opinion that lot 8 subgrade observed today has being prepared in
general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
