Dear Mr. Drew Shreiner
I visited the site to access the inspectors questions on May 24th 2019. In regard to these questions.
-The coffered ceilings in the master bedroom is built to an acceptable level for the required design loads.
-The existing footings in the basement are of adequate size to carry the new point loads from above.
-In regards to whether there is rebar in the footings. Homes of this time period rebar were typically
constructed with rebar. We observed rebar sticking out of the footings in one location of the basement
which gives us strong indication that the whole foundation was constructed with rebar.
