Purpose: I Observe Lot 241 Subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
I observed crews had excavated lot 241 to approx. subgrade elevation and placed loose crushed rock over the
subgrade surface (see site plan). Using a''/2”diameter steel foundation probe, I evaluated the relative consistency of
the subgrade. Probe resistance indicated generally medium stiff to stiff subgrade conditions.
Later in the day, Angela with Polygon informed GeoDesign Lots 113 and 114 had the grass removed from the
lot subgrade and footing areas. Pictures are attached.
Based on our observations and discussions with Polygon, it is our opinion the subgrade for Lots 113, 114 &
241 , has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
