Purpose; Observe Lots 16 and 17 subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
Upon arrival I observed earthwork crews had prepared lots 16 and 17 to subgrade elevation and had placed a
skiff(2"-3") of crushed rock as cover. Subgrade appeared to consist of brown silt. I used a 1/2" dia steel
foundation probe to evaluate the consistency of the subgrade. Resistance to penetration indicates generally
stiff to very stiff subgrade conditions.
Based on observations and probing, it is our opinion that lot 16 and 17 subgrade observed today and where
indicated on the attached site plan is being prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical
recommendations.
