Call to Order Yvonne Burgess, Chairman, called the regular
& Roll Call : meeting of the Tigard Library Board to order at
1 :45 P.M.
Present: Yvonne Burgess, Betsy Chick, Jeri Cundiff,
Darlene Loughlin, Don Jacobs and Irene Ertell .
Excused: Nancy Stimmler. Absent : Mary Slemons.
Reports : The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
The Librarian gave the November report, presenting
the preliminary budget for the new Washinton
County Cooperative Library Service (WCCLS5 serial
levy. Discussion followed.
New Business: The Librarian announced that there is a possibility
of obtaining grant money from public and private
foundations for capital ir.provements through WCCLS.
Motion: Darlene Loughlin moved that a resolution be passed
authorizing the Librarian to pursue this matter
through the WCCLS. Motion was seconded and passed.
The Librarian advised the Board that there is a
problem with speeders in the alley way adjacent to
the Library. The Board directed the Librarian
to explore the possibility of nutting speed bumps
in the alley.
Jeri Cundiff requested that the Librarian post open
and closed signs which are visible from the street.
The meeting was adjourned at 2: 35 P.M.
