Present at the meeting; were Ann hicks, Dee Patterson, Rosanna
Peterson, Charlotte Olson, and Diary Slemons.
The minutes of the last meeting were read; there was a
correction needed because Charlotte Olson' s term on the Board
is not up until December.
Chairwoman Dee Patterson introduced Jerri Cundiff as our
new Board member. , Ann presented Dee with a framed document
than'king her for her man-, services to the library during her
time on the Board.
Dee suggested Rosanna as our new Chairwoman. Ann outlined
the work entailed in this job. After discussion CA'. rlotte form-
ally nominated Rosanna as Chairwoman. of the Library Board. It
was seconded and passed; Rosanna accepted the post.
It was decided that Board meetings will be held the second
Tuesday of each month at 7 :30 P.m. at the library.
Ann gave a resume of expenses and types of boo!4s ourchased
during 1971. A discussion followed comparing these figures
and facts to the first .bight- months .ln.1972.
The meeting was adjourned.
