10/10/1972 - Minutes MINUTES OF THE TIGARD LIB-RARY BOAR YEEEINC OCT . 10,1972
Present at the meeting were Rosanna Peterson, Charlotte
Olson, Ann Hicks, and Jeri Cundiff.
The minutes of the last meeting were read; there were no
corrections needed.
hosanna Per-erson, chairwoman introduced Mr . Steve Telfer,
Tigard City Manager, to the board. Mir . Telfer shared his
thoughts with us on a planned Inter-Eovernmental center, streSBing
mutisle use. He stressed that this would take much planning and
• well informed public to bring it to a reality.
Jeri Cundiff in-formed the board that Kr . Ballsinger
• noted architect would be speaking- Oct . 25th at Chas F. Tigard
elementary School to Friends of the Library and. others interested,
on the building of a new Library in Tigard.
Jeri also asked Ann Hicks if she would be able to use some
new shelves one length long and three shelves high as a Silt
from Friends of the Library to be used in the childrens section.
The meeting was adjourned.
