05/08/1973 - Minutes �:inutes of the Tigard Library Board "eeting May 8,1973
Present at this morning meeting were Jeri Cundiff, -resident;
Don Jacobs; Jean Carlisle substituting for her husband Kenneth; and
Anne Hicks, Librarian.
The chairman, Jeri Cundiff, opened the meeting and the minutes
were read and approved. The Board welcomed Qean and to-inked her for
coming.
There was no old business.
Under new business, the librarian announced that the Council
had approved the buying of new metal, divisional children's shelves
to replace and upgrade that section. She also said that i'iarch had
been a record month with 4100 books checked out.
The next meeting was set for t:.e evening; of June 12tb in order
that all members of the Board may meet together.
The meeting was then adjourned.
