03/11/1975 - Minutes LIBRARY BOARD MEETING FOR MARCH 11- 10:00 AM
The President opendd the meeting. Those present were Jeri
Cundiff, von Jacobs, Yvonne Burgess and Mary Slemons. The
minutes were read and approved.
Under Old Business, Fowler Jr. Hi was discussed with Jeri
explaining that 2 church groups were also interested in
the site. The Board agreed that the site was an advantage.
Mrs. 1)alton will be up again the end of 'arch. The librarian
distributed her report to each member.
The Federal Grant for a 'Books by Mail" countywide was dis-
cussed- it has passed the first two hurdles to becoming a
reality.
Under new business, the librarian mentioned that there may
be federal funds available for building of which we would
need around 250,000 matching for a grant. Will know soon
so can get on the ball for contributions and a bond.
