11/11/1975 - Minutes LIBRARY BOARD MEETING* NOV lltb at 8:00
The President opened the meeting. Present were Don Jacobs,
Jeri Cundiff, Yvonne Burgess, Bary Slemons and ken Carlisle.
The minutes were read and approved as corrected.
The Friends of the Library meeting was discussed. They will
be buying a depressible book truck and three awnings for the
library. Their Dec meeting will be at the library and will
be a cookie tasting and recipe party.
The Board of the Netwrok met to decide on the cassette holders
for each library. It will be a caro)dusel type that locks.
We might be able to purchase a counter for checkout from Pacific
Library. Charlie Kemp is looking into it for us.
There was discussion about checking out the books for a three
week period with an extra night open and a two day grace period
for overdue booksw when the new room opens.
Also a sign to show that there is parking in the rear for patrons.
The Network was able to get bicentennial Wes for each library
and they will be dilihered soon.
The meeting was adjourned with a Monday meeting scheduled for
Dec. 15th at 1:30.
