Rick,
During the framing of the remodel planned at 10760 Summer Lake Drive, you
discovered that the existing second floor exterior wall we were attaching to,
was misaligned by 6"to the wall below.The plan was figured with them
aligned.
Upon review 3t that time, it was determined that there was no impact to the
additions construction, structural or otherwise,to be addressed.The jog of the
wall didn't exceed the depth of the supporting joists, so is to be looked at as
one plane, laterally and for gravitational loadings.
Per your request, I'm issuing this letter to substantiate that decision, and to
support the continuation of the construction to completion.
