Call to Order and Roll Call The meeting was called to order at 5:33 p.m. by Wayne Gross. 2. Comments from the Audience * Mr. Essenberg commented on the new signs on the Cook Park trail that warn bicyclist to yield to pedestrians, He said he would like to see more of those sighs in other areas of the trails. Mr. Essenberg also inquired about the remeander project, future trail on the Fields property, and the pond water on the sidewalk behind City Hall. 3. Election of PRAB Officers • The following people were suggested for PRAB Board Chair and Vice Chair o Wayne Gross for Board Chair o Claudia Chibano for Vice Chair Mr. Martin called for a vote of the board members present, and by a unanimous vote of the board members Wayne Gross was elected Board Chair and Claudia Chibano elected Vice Chair, with Ellen Seminara, Claudia Ciobanu, Wayne Gross, Dave Brown, Trisdan Irvin, all voting yes. 4. Update on Park and Recreation Fee (PARF) • The PARF yearly report is close to being finalized, and the PRAB members were updated on the options that might be presented to city council. o Do nothing: PR-AF stays the same. o Full Meal Deal: Raise PARF to fund all of Parks and Recreation. o Restore Recreation: Raise PARE to restore Recreation to two staff positions. o Restore Both: Raise the PARF fee to restore Recreation to two staff positions, and restore Parks current operation budget. • Discussion was held as to what option the PRAB would support. Claudia Chibano made a motion to restore the cuts to Parks and Recreation, Tristian Irvin seconded the motion, four members voted yes, Claudia Chibano, Tristian Irvin, Ellen Seminara, and Wayne Gross, one member Dave Brown voted no, the motion was passed. Executive Session An executive session was held not held. 7.
