The header at the window next to the stair landing can be a 4x8 instead of a 4x10. Originally I had assumed the girder truss
was supported by this header. Now the header only supports a smaller roof load.

Dear Luke:
The holdown bolt at the foundation was offset from the required position that the holdown is at above the ponywall at the
crawlspace. I have reviewed the sketch of the proposed solution of anchoring the upper holdown to a 4x6 post in the
crawlspace with one upside down holdown on one side and then another at the foundation level at the opposite side. This
is acceptable.
