Pacific Hwy. 6089C-323-002 Gentlemen: This is a Fire and Life Safety Plan Review and is based on the 1988 editions of the Fire and Life Safety Code (UBC) , Mechanical Fire and Life Safety Code (UMC) , Uniform Fire Code (UFC) , and other local ordinances and regulations. Plans are conditionally approved subject to the requirements of the City of Tigard Building Department and the following items: 1 . Hood Requirements: This hood, as submitted, does not appear to be classified for use of flammable or combustible liquids. If flammable and combustible liquids are to be used in this hood, then wiring, hood materials, duct materials, exhaust fan, exhaust fan motor, lighting, etc. shall all comply with wiring classification and hood requirements to handle that type of materials. 2.
