Plans are conditionally approved subject to Tigard Building Department requirements and the following items: 1. The tenant space number must be prominently displayed on the street front where it is readily visible to drivers and officers of responding fire apparatus and other emergency vehicles. UFC Sec. 10. 208 2 . Not less than one (1) approved fire extinguisher(s) with a rating of not less than (*) shall be provided for each (**) square foot of floor area or fraction thereof. The travel distance to an extinguisher from any portion of the building, shall not exceed 75 feet. Plans submitted for the above captioned project are approved subject to the City of Tigard Building Department requirements and the following items: 1 . Automatic Sprinkler Plans: Plans referred to and examined by this office contain no provisions for the alteration or installation of automatic sprinkler system. Not less than three sets of plans for the installation shall be submitted to this office for approval prior to installation. UBC 302 (b) 2 . Approved Plans on Job Site: One set of approved plans bearing the stamps of the building department issuing the construction permit and this office must be maintained on the project site throughout all phases of construction and must be made available to building and fire inspectors for reference during required construction inspections. UBC Sec. 303 3 . Required Occupancy Certificate: Prior to the use and occupancy of the project (space) , a certificate of occupancy or other written instrument of approval must be obtained from the building department issuing the construction permit.
