Dear Jenny:
On June 26th,I performed a site visit with you at your residence at 9885 SW Johnson Street in
Tigard, Oregon.The purpose of the site visit was to determine the load path at the roof level in
order to evaluate a possible raising of the ceiling joists.
Regarding the drawings for the bathroom remodel,which show new doors cut into the wall between
the existing storage area and the master bedroom,we can confirm that the roof framing members
above run parallel.This wall is not a bearing wall and does not require engineering to perforate.
