Dear Adolfo,
In accordance with Section 1704.2.4 of the 2012 International Building Code, we have performed
special inspection of the following inspection categories per our inspection reports only.
• Epoxy Anchors
• Welding
Any non-compliance items recorded for any of the above inspection categories, as listed on the
non-compliance report, have been either re-inspected by KPFF for compliance or reviewed and
accepted by the engineer of record for the project in the "as-built" condition.
All requested inspections and tests were performed and reported according to the requirements of
project documents and, to the best of our knowledge, the work was in conformance with the
approved plans and specifications, approved change orders and applicable workmanship provisions
of the State Building Code and Standards as well as approved design changes and approved as-built
conditions.
Our construction special inspection services were provided and intended to meet the IBC
requirements for special inspections and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of any type.
Even with diligent construction inspections, construction defects, deficiencies or omissions in the
contractor's work may exist and it is the contractor's responsibility to perform their work in
accordance with the approved construction documents.
KPFF has provided special inspection services with the degree of care and skill currently exercised
under similar circumstances by members of its profession in the same locale. Statements made in
our reports are based on technical judgments and should not be construed to be representations of
fact. Our reports pertain to the material inspected only. Special inspection services do not include
responsibilities related to supervising, control of means, methods,sequencing or scheduling of

construction. Additionally, special inspection responsibilities do not include evaluating or reporting
on job conditions related to health,safety or welfare.
