a. Provide detail for 1 hour wall. Placement on D3.0 sheet
2. Provide detail for beam pockets in foundation stem wall. I don't see how you can get
1.5" minimum rebar coverage with a 6"stem wall. Either no beam pockets or an 8"
stem wall will be required with beam pockets. R404.1.4.2 Refer to sheet D6.0 I'm
calling out 8" stem wall
3. Portal frame footing does not meet the minimum footing size requirement for a two
story structure. R602.10.3.3 D7.0Add min measurement to detail
4. Provide braced wall panel info for rear right corner. Minimum braced wall panel
length and location see figure R602.10.1.4.1. Can start a maximum of 8'from
corner. Corner return requirements can be found in section R602.10.4.4(3). D3.0
moved the windows and door placement.
5. Plan needs to call out that continuous sheathing method is to be used in seismic D1
category. Noted on plans D3.0—D4.0
6. Heating will be required for upper level as well. I only see one cadet heater called
out on the main level. We are using cadet heaters in all second floor bedrooms and
stairwell
7. Bath fans will be required to be a minimum of 80cfm per code. Updated fan note
