Dear Mike,
Enclosed under cover of this letter are the following document sets;
• Clean Agent System Flow Calculations on Sheet FS-2
• Shop Drawing Sheets FS1—FS-2
• Manufacturers Data Submittals
I find that this design package,prepared by Northwest Fire Suppression, Inc., is in general
conformance with the intended project design. The submittal has been reviewed only for the limited
purpose of checking for general conformance with the design concept as expressed in the Contract
Documents,subject to the requirements of the Contract Documents.
The finding is inclusive of equipment and installation in conformance with applicable codes including
in part NFPA 2001 for Clean Agent, NFPA 13, NEC,Oregon Electrical Specialty Code,2010 Oregon
Fire Code,and 2010 Oregon Structural Specialty Code and specific requirements of Tigard OR;with
the following notations;
• Seismic bracing is not included in the scope of this engineering review.
• Interface connection with and interactive testing of the building;power,fire&HVAC
systems is outside the scope of this review and the responsibility of others.
• Agent concentration for fire suppression is based on NFPA 2001 as 9.0%minimum.
I have placed my Oregon PE seal on this letter,indicating review approval for the documents
referenced above,subject to the conditions stated herein and approval by the owner's
representative and Tigard,OR.
