This is a Fire and Life Safety Pla Review and is based on the
1988 editions of the Uniform Fire code (UFC) and those sections
of the Uniform Building Code (UBC) and Uniform Mechanical Code
(UMC) specifically referencing the fire department, and other
local ordinances and regulations.
Plans are conditionally approved subject to requirements by the
City of Tigard Building Department and the following items:

1 . Automatic Sprinkler Plans: Plans referred to and
' examined by this office contain no provisions for the
alteration or installation of automatic sprinkler
system. Not less than three sets of plans for the
installation shall be submitted to this office for
approval prior to installation. UBC 302 (b)
2. Fire Extincxuisher Requirements_ Not .less than one (1)
approved fire extinguisher(s) with a rating of not .less
than (*) shall be provided for each (**) square feet 3f
floor area or fraction thereof. The travel distance to
an extinguisher from any portion of the building shall
not exceed 75 feet. UFC Sec. 10.303

bearing the stamps of the building department issuing

fire inspectors for reference during required

occupancy of the project (space) , a certificate of
occupancy or other written instrument of approval must
be obtained from the building department issuing the
