Re: Plan 2885 at Progress Landing Lot 8
I understand that a question was raised about the location of the horizontal rebar in the
concrete stem wall. Detail 9 on S2 shows the floor joists being pocketed,though that is
not how it is assembled. Instead the joists are bearing on top of the sill plate. I take no
exception on the placement of the rebar, however in the future, if joists are not pocketed
it should be located 3 inches from the top of the concrete stem wall.
