While on-site,`)observed the earthwork contractor in the process of cutting a slope to allow access to construct a
cast-in-place retaining wall(see Site Plan). We understand OHSA guidelines allow for maximum vertical cut heights ranging from 3.5
to 4.0 feet without shoring for workers in trenches or confined spaces next to excavations.
