September 1, 1987
Members Present: David A. Seibold, Gene Davis, Bill Benz, Cathy
Chase, Margaret Nolan, Ray Coffeen, Michael Dalton.
1 . City Engineer explained the purpose of the committee and described the
City' s Capital Improvement Plan process. The Committee' s purpose is to
accelerate the identification of CIP needsin the Metzger area so that
the Metzger neighborhood will be fully represented in the coming months
as the various City boards and committees prepare updated facilities
plans and the 1988-89 CIP.
2. . The City Engineer• handed out copies of the Metzger- Progress Circulation
Study and Chapter 7 of the Ash Creek Drainage Study . The City intends to
follow the recommendations of these studies unless tho Metzger citizens
request revisions .
3 . Committee members agreed that for the next meeting, each person will
develop a list of improvement needs and try to identify priorities for
projects.
4. The next meeting will be at 7:00 P,.M. on September 22, 1987.
5. At the next meeting, the Committee will elect a chairperson.
