Lot 72
Upon arrival, I observed that earthwork crew had prepared lot subgrade for lot 72. At time of arrival, earthwork crew
had placed approx. 3" of 3/" minus material on the surface of the subgrade. Compaction efforts were completed
utilizing a small walk behind plate compactor. Using a1/2"diameter steel foundation rod I probed the compacted
aggerate base. Probing indicated well keyed base. Probing through the aggerate base I observed the subgrade to
generally be stiff.
I observed area of free standing water on the surface of the aggerate base. Recommend that free standing water be
removed before pouring footings and construction traffic be limited within this area.
Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion that lot 72 subgrade is being prepared in general
accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
