12/11 & 12/20/2002 - Packet Monthly Report December, 2002 For Skate Park Task Force 1. Meetings were held on(list dates during month) -Fowler Teachers meeting to discuss Fowler site on 12/11. -On 12/20 Bill, Dan, Ed, Jim, Matt, Jim W. met to discuss Fowler area resident concerns. 2. Current activities (summarize): Finance meetings and site selection process. 3. Status of long-term projects: The major long-term projects continue to be the selection of a site location for the skate park facility and the subsequent fundraising campaign. a) SITE SELECTION (same as above) b)FUNDRAISING There was a fund raising event on 12/18. A preview showing of a Skate/Bike Video was shown in the Water Building Auditorium with the attendance/raffle ticket revenues going to the Tigard Skate Park fund raising effort. It is estimated that the event generated between$300 and$500 dollars. The kids had a great time. c) DESIGN n/a 4.
