Skate Park Task Force
1. Meetings were held on (list dates during month)
Fundraising meetings were held on October 1.
2. Current activities (summarize): The following is Rich Carlson's recent status report.
The car wash was a great success--we raised $665 from washing a whole lot of cars!
Thanks to everyone that came out and pitched in. Thanks also to Starbuck's for the use of
their parking lot. Thanks also to Lilli's mom, Mercedes Peloquin, for helping us in all sorts of
ways including washing cars all day.
The Task Force attended a workshop at Fowler on Wednesday evening, Oct 8 at 7:00 PM.
The workshop was for people in our community that would like to be involved with youth
activities. The Skate Park Task Force had a table in the foyer at Fowler in order to recruit
vounteers from those people that attended the conference. Great job with the car wash!
Status of long-term projects:
The major long-term project continues to be fundraising.
