RESOLUTION NO. 18 - 17
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TAMERA BORING TO THE COMMITTEE FOR COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT,FOR A TERM OF FOUR YEARS,EFFECTIVE MARCH 28,2018 THROUGH MARCH
28,2022.
WHEREAS,the bylaws of the Committee for Community Engagement as of May 2017 call for appointing up to
15 members on the Committee for Community Engagement;and
WHEREAS,the committee already has 14 standing members,with a vacancy to be filled by an eligible applicant
who resides,owns property,owns a business or works within the City of Tigard's Urban Services Boundary;and
WHEREAS, Tamera Boring was interviewed by Mayor John Cook and committee liaison Councilor Marc
Woodard on January 16,2018,for the Committee for Community Engagement.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Tamera Boring is appointed to the Committee for Community Engagement as a Member for
a four-year term,effective March 28,2018 through March 28,2022.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
