I got your contact information from Branden Taggart at the Building Division. I recently tried to schedule a
final inspection for the above garage conversion permit and discovered that the permit has expired. I write you
to request that you reopen our permit without having to pay the fee to do so.
In late May I had Mr. Taggart put a note in my file stating that I was awaiting a decommissioning of our septic
tank before requesting a final inspection of the garage conversion/ bedroom and bathroom project. The septic
tank was decommissioned this past summer but the family member helping me finish the project underwent
treatment for cancer for several months and the project stalled. I understand the permit was closed in August,
during this time.
Now with the project finished, I request that the Building Division reopen the permit at no charge so that we
may get the final inspection and close the permit.
