06/22/1978 - Minutes Minutes of Selection Committee Meeting, Thursday, June 22, 1978.
The meeting was held at City Hall, in the City Administrator's office.
Members of the Selection Committee present: Mayor Wilbur A. Bishop, Councilman
Alan W. Mickelson and City Administrator, Raeldon R. Barker.
Meeting commenced at 5:20 P.M.
Committee discussed positions available on all city boards and commissions
and interviewed the following:
Planning Commission
1. Victor Seeber
2. Edna Sakata
Recommendations of Committee:
1. Cliff Speaker to replace Edna Sakata on Planning Commission.
2. Recommend Edna Sakata be appointed to the Park Board.
3. Recommend appointment of Victor Seeber as outside city member on
the Planning Commission (2-1 vote of committee) and Craig Helmer as
second choice as outside city member on the Planning Commission (3-0
vote of committee) .
4. Withhold further recommendations for appointments to the Planning Commission
until committee has an opportunity to interview remaining candidates.
