RESOLUTION NO. 18-/2
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF TIGARD STORMWATER MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, ORS 197.175 requires cities to prepare, adopt, amend, revise and implement Comprehensive
Plans consistent with statewide planning goals adopted by the Land Conservation and Development
Commission;and
WHEREAS,Tigard's adopted Public Facility Goal 11.1 is to"Develop and maintain a stormwater system that
protects development,water resources,and wildlife habitat";and
WHEREAS,the Stormwater Master Plan will be support document to the City's Comprehensive Plan;and
WHEREAS,an up-to-date master plan is necessary for prioritizing needed stormwater system projects;and
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard completed an analysis of the condition of major stormwater system elements
and impacts to water quality,flood control and erosion control needs;and
WHEREAS, public, stakeholder and partner agency input on stormwater issues and project priorities was
gathered and used to inform the development of the plan;and
WHEREAS,council has reviewed the draft plan and provided no additional feedback.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Council adopts the City of Tigard Stormwater Master Plan(Exhibit A).
SECTION This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
