RESOLUTION NO. 18-11
A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT A CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN TO ADDRESS THE MATERIAL
WEAKNESS OUTLINED IN THE COMMUNICATION TO THOSE CHARGED WITH
GOVERNANCE AND INTERNAL CONTROL RELATED MATTERS LETTER FROM THE
INDEPENDENT AUDITORS
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council has received and reviewed the 2016-2017 financial statement audit from
Moss Adams LLP (the Audit);and
WHEREAS, the Audit letter outlines one material weakness in reviewing worksheets supporting final entries
for information contained in the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report(CAFR);and
WHEREAS,a corrective plan of action has been created and implemented in accordance with ORS 297.466(2).
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The corrective plan of action, attached hereto as Exhibit A, has been implemented by staff
and is hereby approved
SECTION 2: The City Recorder is directed to file a copy of this resolution with the appropriate State of
Oregon officer in accordance with ORS 297.466(3).
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
