Community members can provide input to help preserve and build more places for people to live Something big kicks off this fail;a community effort to bring more housing choices and opportunity to Southwest Port/and and Tigard. We're calling it the SW Corridor Equitable Housing Strategy. The arrival of light rail transit along the corridor will be a game changer. A unified housing strategy will help ensure the benefits of this once-in-a-lifetime investment are available to everybody. Our first big community event will help community members learn about the corridor's affordable housing needs and what it will take to preserve and build more homes for all. You can help shape the housing strategy and listen to your neighbors' views on housing challenges and opportunities. You can also learn more about the light rail project and how to provide input into the transportation planning process.
