TIGARD CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 18 - Oc;o
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING CANDI CORNILS, BEN GOOLEY AND ERIK HALSTEAD AS
VOTING MEMBERS OF THE TIGARD TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE, AND
REAPPOINTING GEORGE BRANDT AND APPOINTING CARL FISHER AND RUTH
HARSHFIELD AS NON-VOTING ALTERNATE MEMBERS.
WHEREAS,The Tigard Transportation Advisory Committee is comprised of 11 voting positions,including
at least eight citizen and at least two business representatives;and
WHEREAS,as of December 31,2017 there are three voting citizen vacancies;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee interviewed eight individuals on December 18,
2017 and recommends reappointing Candi Cornils, Ben Gooley and Erik Halstead as voting citizen
representatives,and reappointing George Brandt and appointing Carl Fisher and Ruth Harshfield as non-voting
alternate members;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Candi Cornils,Ben Gooley and Erik Halstead are reappointed as voting citizen
representative members of the Tigard Transportation Advisory Committee with terms
expiring December 31,2020.
SECTION 2: George Brandt is reappointed and Carl Fisher and Ruth Harshfield are appointed as non-
voting alternate members of the Transportation Advisory Committee with terms expiring
December 31,2018.
SECTION 3: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
