DECEMBER 1 , 1982
1 . Jim Henderson and Clarence Nicoli were not able to attend this meeting.
All other committee members were present. The minutes were approved
after some corrections were made .
2 . Introduction of Victor Bringle from Carter Bringle & Associates,
consulting engineers . Some questions asked of him were:
1 . How many districts, that your company is now servicing,
gets water from the Clackamas River?
2 . Do you think that Lake Oswego would want Tigard to. foot
the bill for expansion?
3 . Has there been a contract signed with Lake Oswego yet?
4 . Do you feel that Tigard is not being charged enough for
water by Lake 'Oswego?
5 . What you recommend to this committee?
6 . Is anyone below Albany taking from the Willamette?
7 . Do you feel that there should be multi$1 ources of water?
3. The committee then discussed individual�,}nterpretations of the ques-
tions given to this committee to answerA There was a motion made
asking that each committee member go home and answer each question
individually. The motion was passed and the answers will be dis-
cussed at the next meeting.
4 . Ray Pirkle contacted the engineers involved, with the CH2M .Hill Study.
They said that it should be ready by December 9th but would not give
any cluesco their findings .
5. Other motions passed at this meeting were:

I . li. Find out if Water District maintains their own equipment.
2, l. Bruce Clark will ask Mr . Santee for a list of things that
he feels that the city and the Water District could do in
a cooperative effort .
3. Bruce Clark will ask Jim Henderson for a copy of the list
given him by Frank Curry.
L1 �S'. This committee will make sure that it ' s findings will be
published in the local newspaper in laymens terms so that
the citizens of Tigard can understand its recommendations .
These findings will be presented to the Water District and
the city of Tigard in the form of a joint meeting .
6 . The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 8th at 7 : 30 . -
