Monday, November 13, 2017 NOV 2 0 2017 Auric Solar CITY OF TIGARD 2310 S 1300 W BUILDING DIVISION West Valley City, UT RE: ROOF EVALUATION FOR 8340 SOUTHWEST FANNO CREEK DRIVE, TIGARD, OREGON As per your request I evaluated the support system for the proposed solar array for the residence located at 8340 Southwest Fanno Creek Drive, Tigard, Oregon. It is my understanding that the roof structure consists of pre-engineered trusses at 24" o.c. where the solar panels will be located. The snow load is less than 50.0 psf and the wind load is less than 120 psf. The roof will be supporting 16 solar panels. Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2014 Section 3111.5.3 indicates that solar panels that are installed on conventional light-framed construction with pre-engineered trusses or roof framing members with a maximum spacing of 24" o.c. shall qualify as prescriptive and shall not require an engineered design. I can be reached at 435-654-6600 extension 123 with any questions. Respectfully, +off "GINE& /0 1 T. fi r4k 41 S:i ARE_`` 441 01/4' nfi N* 1/13/17 EXPIRES 1414c‘ Adam Huff, S.E.
