DOWNTOWN TIGARD COMMITTEE
June 24, 1980

MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE: Roger Brown, David Dresser, J. Allan Paterson,
Don Hanson, Dick Kadel, Carol Jones, Jean Halderson,
Aldie Howard
Organizational Meeting Resolution 80-46 creating the Downtown Tigard Committee
was presented by Tigard Staff - Planning Director. 'A `lengthy discussion
focused on the intent of the Committee, a review of the present development
activity on Main Street and throughout the Community. Various approaches to
a Study were discussed. The members agreed that educational sessions with
persons with various expertise in development fields should be contacted.
Staff to provide a copy of Lake Oswego's Request For Proposal for review
and to contact Hillsboro for presentation at next meeting.
Officers were elected as follows:
CHAIRPERSON`e David Dresser
ALTERNATE CHAIRPERSON: J. Allan Paterson
SECRETARY: Aldie Howard
A meeting schedule was agreed upon as follows:
• July 9, July 23, August 13, and August 27 to meet at the Durham Unified
Sanitary Service Processing Plant, Conference Room at 7:30 p.m. with future
meetings to be scheduled.
