Report 1 /397S- Std gE,rchvi64_, RCHITECT P 12 October 2017 Natureworks Attn: Howard Lehman Howard - Regarding the discovery of a storm drain pipe at the location of a proposed footing for the new patio cover, I make the following recommendations for resolution based on the owner deciding not to relocate the pipe 1. Provide a minimum 6" diameter schedule 40 pipe, cut in half lengthwise over the top of the existing pipe and extending a minimum of 3" outside the formwork for the footing; fill gap between drain pipe and covering pipe at each end with compressable neoprene. 2. Provide#4 rebar over and perpendicular to the pipe with 2" clearance at 6" on center. 3. Footing to be increased in plan dimension by 6" each side of pipe. 4. Hold schedule 40 pipe in place with rebar driven 8" minimum into the ground at 45 degree angles each side at 12" on center. 5. When depositing concrete, do not place on top of pipe until both sides are placed. Stewart Gordon Straus i.",(1301.1,D 4,cp cbgauda CON SIAUS.04 tp PCKLAKI, CRE04 to AT 47,pip 4434 VAX& OF '.181.
